Asslam-o-alaikum
Please can you help me my parents passed away in 1989 in Sohawa district Jhelum. They left a lot of land and at this time and moment I have no idea what is going on as my family have sold a lot of it without telling me. I would instantly go and find out what land is still left and how I can transfer in my name. Is there is a chance some of it I can still claim it. Kindly resolve this conflict on urgent basis as I am so far from my country and coming back to Pakistan and want to settled permanent very soon.

It is not that easy now get a lawyer, He will guide you through. I think you can get most but you might have to pay hefty legal fees. |

Dear Pardisee: Please contact to your concerned Patwari and get a copy of Inheritance Intiqaal (Mutation). In this Intiqaal, you can see all details of your father's land and alloted shares to all descendants. Than you ask your family members to divide the land among all descendants and get file a Taqseem Intiqaal (partition mutation). If your family members are not ready to do that than you give an application to Tehsildar for partition of Inherited land. Tehsildar listen both parties, see all Patwari registers and give his decision for partition between all family members. |
