Dear All
I am living in Karachi and have a 10 Marla plot in DHA Rahbar Phase-1 allotted by quota. I want to build home there.
Can any friend tell me the current progress on development of this society. Also shall I wait for 1 year or 2 year to make home here.

For last 2 years there is hardly any progress, So it is very difficult to tell when they will finish work. I dont think that area will be worth living in 2 years construction is so expensive why not you try and a better area, At the end of day 40 Lac or 50 Lac does not make difference. This is golden chance to buy a property well within populated areas.

I think Mr jameel have no idea about the area. The rates in DHA RAHBAR are increasing and development is fast. they are claiming the posession will be hand over in december. But hopefuly by next june they will give posession

RAHBAR is right, they ll give posession in a year, i have seen tht area, and they r working on it, ROADS in progress at the moment. and prices are also going good day by day.

I am wondering that Mr. Habib has not jumped in so far as this discussion is related to Defence Road housing societies!!!!

Whenever someone starts discussion about any housing society on Defence road, these two guys Jameel and Habib always jump in with their "Goody Goody" comments. I don't know why?

please do not mislead people ,yes development is going on & it may take 6 to 8 months but i will advise see for your self if the development work does not stop ,who can ask DHA possession may be given in 8 months ,please see your self
