Dear all,
I was working abroad in 2008 and asked one of my friend where to invest Rs. 3 Million because I do not want interest. So he said that he already invested in PPFL mutual fund and getting good dividends every year, so suggested me also to invest there. I purchased 300,000 shares @ Rs.10.
On his advice I invested but could not get any dividend in , I asked my friend why not dividend to me while you are getting. He replied that this year due to weak economic position no dividend is given. Now he left to USA.
Can any one now tell me if they are giving any dividend this year or not and when they will make announcement and pay, if any. I could not find any detail from their website so will appreciate if reply is given by the concerned persons.

log on to ARIF HABIB INVESTMENTS,than go to close end fund ,u will find all the info u need,basicaly the last time they paid out was in year 2008,they paid out 1.50rupes per share,since than they r going down at the moment in this year they r 9% down,anyway check it out. |

do not worry man, this is a safe investment with a strong group. u will get dividends. |

Thanks Mr. Hamza for your hope, but Mr. Malik said that they are 9% down which means they will not give dividends this year as well.
I know that it is strong group that is why I invested 3 Mio there instead to put money into Bank and get every month return. I still feel it better than banks provided some dividends even 7-8% is given each year. Anyway can you please find out if they will give anything dividend this year. In the website nothing is mentioned.

sa the stocks go up, u can sell your shares at a better price and is not at all haraam. once u sell your shares, u can buy other stocks with better yields. just wait for a better price of your shares that i think u will get in near future. good luck |
