I am writing this to apologize......

To apologize from the previous dictatorial regime and its supporter...

To apologize from Rtd. Gen. Pervez Musharaf....

As I have been criticizing on them a lot during their tenure....

Advocating for the Democracy...

....I was wrong...very wrong...

All efforts, all struggle that the judges, lawyers, media, journalist, civil socielty, and political workers have done to bring democracy in Pakistan became successful on 18th Feb 2008.

But the PPP and PMLN led govenment has disappointed the whole nation.

..no no no...this is not the democracy...this is worst then dictatorship....

I already had no hopes from Zardari, but Nawaz Sharif and Shabaz Sharif have disappointed me a lot. Their role is negative in the whole situation.....they have done nothing positive

...once again...please if someone can find Rtd. Gen Musaharaf, Shaukat Aziz, Tariq Aziz, anf all their Azizs, and their supporter....tell them...that

....I apologize

....please come back

The problem, when these retarded dishonest politician are in opposition, they somehow speak for people, but when ruling, they are employees of west.

Democracy is not for our country. It will never be!

musharaf was ok. but he gave us terrorism as worst gift.

Salman replied on Friday, July 9, 2010 11:19 AM

What the hell are u talking about?

Suicide Bombing is a gift of General Musharraf

Present Government is also a gift of General Musharraf thru NRO coz he didnt want Nawaz Sharif

Talibans are a gift of General Zia Ul Haq

and I am sure Mr AD, you are either an armyman or son of an armyman; who feels agitated that ARMY is not given a chance to EAT AND PLUNDER ANY MORE. YOUR EMPTY STOMACHS WANT MORE MORE AND MORE.

if Pakistan is uneducated today, its because we spent disproportinately high on DEFENCE. WE have been hostaged by your beloved GENERALS all these years

Imran replied on Friday, July 9, 2010 11:35 AM

if you look around all over the world you will find monarch pattern (one man show ) in most of muslim countries.
Democracy is never for muslims i guess.

Asd replied on Friday, July 9, 2010 12:42 PM

totaly agreed with Mr. Salman on this. These must be some retired "fauji's" thoughts or some other form of Military 'Tufailya'!!

javed replied on Friday, July 9, 2010 01:52 PM

Mr. Salman and Asad are convergent in their views, i think both have some tilt and interest in the prevelant political scenario and are not independent in their views. And might not belong to the masses. What AD tried to convey is clear. No shortage, economy was better, out of IMF bound despite gambling in Stocks. We were against Musharraf principally and his action in Waziristan, Muslim slaughtering Muslim. Despite Gang of Qabza Group and Choor chaudhries people were some how in commofrts. Do not blame AD, AD has no courrage of showing his full name. My opinion is that he does not belong to faudi background, he is masses like us.

You know that is our problem , we start relating persons with others while listening to their point of view, like if I say govtm had done some good works(oh that's the voice of ppp supporter).I fink whtever the scenario our country is in, we ourself are responsible cause whenever we get a chance to humiliate someone we never hesitate in doing so. Nations take time to grow strong needs centuries(dnt think of china )give time to things we are in whether u like it or not dnt try to break it.INSHA ALLAH,we will become a stronger nation if not strongest

Anwar replied on Saturday, July 10, 2010 01:56 AM

There in no shortcut. What we need is democracy alongwith strong JUSTICE SYSTEM. KIndly support our Justice system. Inshallah we will survive, but definitely it will take time.
Once few politicians are in Jail, you will find marked improvements in political scenario. Further we should have NATIONAL PARTIES instead of provincial/localised. Its important for the bonding of all provinces& to reduce corruption.
I think Musharraf would be better , if he is the head of a party having roots in all provinces, elected & accepts Supreme Court supremacy.

Commentator replied on Saturday, July 10, 2010 05:46 AM

The freedom of media has increased the political accumen of masses many times. Now people know their leaders far better than they could a decade ago. There is no Nawai waqt or Jang telling us who thinks what. We can see the leaders much more closely. Which is why I think, Pakistanis will start making right choices from now on.
Yes AD has raised valid food for thought. Perhaps a debate should take place whether Pakistan has the luxury of spending time on letting the democracy take roots.
In the meantime, please dont hesitate to condemn gross irregularities: like under the garb of free judiciary, freedom of media, cronies bought out by politicians start prvailing. People are not so dumb not to understand who is on whose payroll.

Khan-1 replied on Saturday, July 10, 2010 06:10 AM

I agree with AD to great extant taht Musharaf was very bad and these people are worst worst than him.But the things may change, If the people of Pakistan show their wisdom and throw away these bad & corrupt leaders. Election of NA 123 indicates that the direction of wind is changing. PTI has got significant votes in these election, Althougt PML(N) attitude is very disappointing but much better than PPPP.If PML(N) will not wakeup now, they will suffer a lot. I am sure their grapf is coming down. Many of the people of Pakistan are corrupt bot they want honesty. If the system will change, there will be merrit and justice people will chane and elect good people. Insha-Allah.

MJM Dammam replied on Saturday, July 10, 2010 07:31 AM

Imran - you have every right to disagree with any of comments given on this forum but please mind your language. When logic fails this type of language is shown by desperate people. Politicans always gave a chance to Army to step in!!!

Fawad replied on Saturday, July 10, 2010 09:25 AM

First of all, before critisizing, clear your mind that Musharraf is not representing the whole army of the Pakistan. Although he blonged to Pakistan army but it is an institute and not a political party. So save your time rather than discussing a never ending comparison between army and democracy.
Secondly, regardless of the discussion that whether Musharraf period or current political system was/is good/bad, a patriotic pakistani will never go against his army.

tahir replied on Saturday, July 10, 2010 06:28 PM

Salam, I have one question with all due respect to our army as an institute, but why armymen use this word "BLOODY Civilians"?

eh replied on Saturday, July 10, 2010 07:48 PM

tahir, this is because they know their family members well since most of their family members belongs to civilians. Please don't talk about idiots who don't know what they are talking about.
