As usual, some people need to pass lame comments that portray bitterness at the realities and also their compulsion to give their free and useless advice. Putting up an ad on any pakistani internet forum is like an invitation for criticism or humiliation. Even if Mr. Ansari gave his house for free, you'd have some sages commenting on how he should also provide furniture.
I myself don't think any property prices in Pakistan make sense, but nevertheless market factors determine them. In addition to supply and demand, in Pakistan those are 'holding power', 'external demand i.e. expatriate funding' and an incredibly large parallel/undocumented/black economy that makes a growing number of people extra-ordinarily rich. All over Asia you see high prices. There are 3 bedroom apartments in Manila that go for $1 mln.
If someone wants to buy the property, call him and make him whatever offer you like. If not, exercise some self-restraint if you have nothing new or constructive to say. What a nation of drawing room critics. |
