Dear all,
My son selected in NUST (H-12, Islamabad) for Mechanical Engineering (SMME) and I paid the amount to block the seat. However, he is giving also test of UET and expecting positive result. Some people say that if he is selected in UET then go for it and leave NUST.
Can you please advice then what should I do. He is expecting his total No. of FSC around 900.
What is tuition fee of NUST and UET. I heard UET has increased fee but not sure what is exactly.
UET test is on 8th of August.

What happened to you. Now everyone came to know that your son is geneous. Please take care of him. I think you should not admit him in pakistan. take admission in UK or USA.

I think isloo has given a good suggestion. IMO both institutions are good. UET being old seems to be of more value. |

@Akmal, if you humiliate anyone on a forum, please remember that it does not harm him, its your own dignity that is lost...
If someone needs some guidance, we should help him the best we can.May be Mr. Irfan is not aware of the Engineering field himself and wants to know the facts..
His son is a good student ofcourse, its not easy to reach 900 in FSC... |

u should contact UET and NUST directly to get an idea of fee. And try to see few students there to know exactly what it is like. This forum is not the right one for this kind of information. I wonder how would u agree with someone on this forum? Does not make any sense |

Congrats.Since you have already blocked the seat so seems no worry.Let him try for UET and if selected in Mech.then opt for UET.UET is better than NUST and world wide recognazied.Moreover UET fee structure is reasonable.
Regarding discipline selction,it depends upon your son's choice/priority/interest and then in hand available options and it must be considered on top priority.
Anyhow actual scenario will be cleared after UET test and then you can reach to final decision along with clear path forward towards career building move.

mr erfan is doing well.he is collecting informations in this way.this is matter of his son,s life and his future.his little mistake and wrong decision can put him far from his future.i personally feel i am not at the seat according to my intallegence because i could not get education according to my abilities and according to my intellegence because my parents were not much educated and aware.now some times i think that if that time my parens properly guided me may be i were at much better seat than it.but now although my children r small yet but i am taking much information and awareness through this forum and collecting this and some times i write this in my dairy so that when the time of admission of my child come i will not have to listen the talks of people.many people r talking benefits through these talks.please carry on these talks. |
