Time to Make or Break - Whom you Suggest,

(60067)

What about proposing the name of a person for the chairman of the proposed commission for flood relief?
. The person should have credibility in & out of the country.
. Should have no corruption charges.
. Able to unite the nation at this catastrophe.
. Can manage a team of credible people.
. Can coordinate between all the groups.
. May become a stimulus of change.

Can we at this forum agree on one name?

....Imran Khan?

Friends M A S Edhi is a very good person but IMRAN KHAN is better choice for this purpose because he can represent Pakistan on international level and can talk to the leadership of all countries so

IMRAN KHAN

Without any dout, respected Abdul Sattar Edhi only. Why? because he does not belongs to any poltical party.

The only one "Imran Khan" however we have to clear black sheep among us who are on someone's payroll and try to destabilize. Have these black sheet active among us, bechara Imran will not be able to do anyting. What I mean to say "Imran and Awam" give only 2 years and sky will be the limit for us. Inshallah

Either....Edhi Sb or Imran Bhai can do this job very well. I read in the news that Edhi sb has refused to be the part of this commission. And I am sure Imran Bhai will do the same. People of Pakistan will not support Anything to do with this corrupt government and both of these personalities know this fact

Asif replied on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 12:20 PM

I can also be good choice. Give me a chance

tzk replied on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 12:21 PM

i agree on both names but as i read Edhi refused it and imran would not want to be part of it as because of his political career, 6 big (corrupt) parties pml-n,pml-q, ppp, mqm, anp, jui will not be comfortable with him in commission.

I would suggest these people along with hameed gul be made members of commission as obligation as they may have some opposition but none of them have corruption charges. The more diversity of non-corrupt people from different backgrounds, the more transparent it will be.

Imran Khan and Musharraf should join ranks to oust PPP and noon league.

If any commission of this kind is made, clearly it is a vote of no confidence for the govt. People sitting in the parliment will have no moral right to it in the house afterwards.

STN replied on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 05:07 PM

I am sure that the present corrupt government shall not form a commission for rehabilitation works for the flood victims.

Hence, I would say that people of Pakistan has already checked the current lot of corrupts which include Zardari, N-league, Q league. Though I have never voted to Imran Khan but I will must support him for this noble cause. Today I watched on TV that he has already held a press conference with collaboration of MKRF and assured the public that their donations will not be lost. Keeping in view Imran Khan's past record of Shaukat Khanum Hospital, Niml University, etc, I hope that he will also serve the people in a better way. So my vote goes for Imran Khan.

May Allah forgive our sins and keep our flood affected brothers and sisters safe and sound. aameen

What is wrong with Zardari. He is well connected to the entire world except people of Pakistan. For that he has two prime ministers, one current and one ex. We all should rally behind him at this national emergency. At least 90 percent will reach flood affected people.... not a bad deal....better than nothing.

I think discussing Imran as a prospective candidate to head a commission which is yet to be formed by the govt is absolutely meaningless. He can never be among the likes of govt and N-league as everyone here should be well aware of.However Abdul Sattar Eidhi can be an appropriate choice as he is not only a non political figure but also a known credible personality among all circles of the society. He also has the proven record of relief efforts fot any kind of catastrophy.
But what counts at this point of time is "action" as it is a race against time kinda situation, every second counts. But unfortunately, the response of our govt has been painfully slow.
I appreciate the on ground efforts done by our Pak Army.
