Development Status of DHAI Phase 1 Ext Islamabad,

Lets please share views about latest development status of DHAI Isl Phase 1 Ext. As I know the ballot of DHAI Phase 1 Ext was held in early 2005 but unfortunately it has not so far developed. About few months back, I met DD Plans Mr Faisal at DHAI Isl Office who told me that the dev work is going on and will be INSHAALLAH completed within 1-2 years time. Anyone who know about its latest dev status may share his views/knowledge for benefit of the viewers. Regards to all

i have visited the area..........the only development is that of a road leading to dha 1 extn from dha phase 1 side...... seeing the ground work 1-2 years seems to be a false claim....i think if development continues at the current pace...then whole ph 1 extn will develop in at least 5 years....keep in mind that development work has just been started.....no development was done in the past years.....the development work is currently being done from the side of sector b and c.....sector A area which was shown on the original ph 1 extn map is now part of askari 14.....i dont know if the original allotment letter holders of sector A will be re-located or what?....a good place to live if u actually want to build ur home...because once the development is complete the area will be simply beautiful due to its natural beauty....the area is greener and better than actual phase 1....if for investment then there are risks...because property value in this area will fluctuate on speculations....still i think it is a better investment than dha valley and ph 2 extn....another plus point about ph 1 extn is that future askari colonies will be part of ph 1 extn....i think they are already going to merge askari 14 with ph 1 extn........however if u are intending to buy a plot here then i think it is the best time....because dha ph 1 extn plots are at their lowest now....my plot was worth 27 lac in 2005 but now not more than 12.5 lacs...i am selling because in need of money...to those who already have plots in ph 1 extn i would advice that wait for 3 years....may be after some development u get a rise in the worth of ur plots....the area after development will not take more time to get inhabitated because ph 1 is already populated and askari colonies get populated the day houses are complete.

@aamir, thank you very much for your detail analysis of Phase I Ext. You are right, Block A has been relocated to Ask 14 followed by Askari 15 as well. Block A allottees have already relocated. Aamir Sb did this road of Phase I ext will touch Ask 14/15, if so then it may also linked with Adiala road. You may drop your e mail for further discussion plz. Thanks

pakistan is the most corrupt country on earth.It does not deserve to exist. I purchased a file in DHA 1 ext for 40 lacs. Paid development charges amounting to 6 lacs..My plot in the ballot came out in block A.. now i get to know that it does not even exist..it is just a piece of paper ..only because some generals want ASKARI 14 to be in the armpit of EMAAR properties..to make a fast buck.. i pray to god that pakistan breaks up and the Generals are hanged by whoever conquers
