Dear,
Dont come to Pakistan,
if you have money then try to switch to Aus,or Eu,but dont think about coming back to pak,
May it hurts some people but its true, once you are used to live a peaceful life in abroad,it is totally difficult to get used to the life here in Pakistan.
My sincere apology to those who are not agree with me.

If you don't respect your land, no one will respect you.

You belong where your roots are. In recent flood in northern areas, all the alien plants were either uprooted or bent, but the plants of original habitat had no harm, because their roots were deep. peace.

SMEDA has some research on different businesses that one may establish.

http://www.smeda.org.pk

Not sure if they have a CNG station listed.

All the best to you.

CNG business is good for the time being, however, you will see people throwing their CNG kits out of their vehicles as serious Gas crisis will emerge in the country due to shortage, hence Gas prices will increase substantially and it will be better to run our vehicles on Petrol. Gas shortage crisis has already started and it will increase every year. I belong to oil & gas sector so aware of this fact. Donot invest in this business, it would be better to simply open a petrol pump.
Sui Gas Field has already started declining in terms of production. 2nd bigest Field was Qadirpur Gas Field, which has now become the main contributr to the national netwrok, however, developement projects are on halt by this Govt for this Field due to malpractices by OGDCL and Ministry of Petroleum. Every body is aware of the recent Adnan Khawaja episode. OGDCL is the biggest profitable company in Pakistan which is feeding the poor people of this country (indireclty), but if Adan Khawaja episodes continues then sooner we will see biggest white elephant of the history of Pakistan.
This Govt especially Petroleum and Water & Power Ministry are the most corrupt and playing with the future of the country. Shortage of Gas will effect many industries power generation ,textile, sugar, domestic and many others, so be prepared for a series of crisis. This Govt has also stopped the project of Iran-Pakistan Gas Pipeline under US Govt pressure which is expected to provide only 1/5th of the Gas currently available in Pakistan. e need lot of Gas as our differnt industries and systems are based on Gas. LPG and LNG lobbies are active to stop all Gas projects. These LPG/LNG lobbies are said to be very close to Mr. Zardari and PM. A lot can be written here, but who will care. We have to pray to Allah for our bright future.

Today we donot have power, tomorrow will will loose Gas also.. We are loosing grip on Petrol supply also becasue of massive Circular Debt which has penetrated into our Corporates sector like cancer. Who is responsible for this ? When ever Circular Debt increases Loadshedding starts .. Nothing is in control ofthis Govt..
We keep voting these Govts in elections with expectations and hopes... now we donot even have right to make HOPES..

(if you are sitting in Saudi Arabia... keep sitting there...)

For everybody's information govt has stopped issuing licences and connections to new CNG stataions. Therefore do not worry even if you want to get in to this business you would not be able to get in to it. Further Shahis Sahib your information is not correct. The land machinary and construction plus lots of bribie you have to pay on each step, your cost would be between 4 to 6 crores not one crore. Further a lot of CNG stations are being dumped in to the market because of the tough competition and gas problems. At lease this is not the time to get in to such business.

I tend to agree with Mr. Asif's analysis. Short term it moth look good but long term I highly doubt due to energy crisis in pakistan.

CNG + all Other Industrial Activities
For any sort of planning, availability of data is the first and foremost, in absence of data nothing can be planned. Pakistan unfortunately suffers from reliable data in all spheres, e.g. human resources, Agriculture, population, feed grains availability and comsumption, natural gas availability and present and future requirements, present requirements for industrial sustainablity, etc etc, We can erect 100,000 CNG stations but one million Dollar is where is the gas for the CNG Stations? I am sorry to say that there is no reliable data available in Pakistan for any sector. Whole systems runs on presumptions and for that reasons Pakistan is in a state od turmoil.

Dear Brothers

Long time ago, OGRA has stopped giving licences for any new CNG stations due to gas shortages...... SMEDA is outdated most of the times..... if you have investment for opening CNG station, I can help you out either by consultancy or by investing myself in jointventure..... if serious, you may call me at +
