can anyone please post the procedure for getting the "Inteqal" of Land in Lahore. Is it done through patwarkhana of specific area or LDA or some other office. Secondly, what are the forms,papers required for it and how long does it take. Is the person holding the sale deed of the land the owner or does it complete only after "inteqal" of the land ?Thanks.

Intiqal means Transfer, If the area is LDA area ie File is in LDA office then you need only transfer from LDA Office, If area is not in LDA neither in some cooperative society then you need Registry and Intiqal for that take these step
1 Ask old owner to get Fard and get Copy and goto concerned Patwar khana and get it Confirmed that he is original owner in patwar Khana record. Patwari will ask you some money as bribe Like Rs500, at the same time Fix with him that I am buying this Plot tell me what will be bribe for Intiqal. Make sure he will not ask more at intiqal [usually it is 6000 to 8000 if there is some "Phada" that it can goto even one Lac the most common problem is sale on Mukhtar Nama or Plot previously sold only on registry from A to B to You without Intiqal]
2. Get Court Registry of that plot, you will have to buy Stamp papers and amount will be told by Lawyer or Stamp Navees.
3. Get this registry registered in Court best thing is both parties goto court and in front of Judge otherwise help of Lawyer is sought.
4. After you get Registry then apply to Patwar Khana for Intiqal usually it is process of one month.
Registry alone have no Value as Court is not bound to Check Land ownership records before making registry, It only Confirms that they Identified A and B and A says that he is owner of so and So and received money from B and will transfer Property to B. |
