Dear Khaid, There are hundreds of worker (from contractor and CDA) working to complete the finishing touches for all under ground utilities. Yes, I said it; there are HUNDREDS of worker. If anyone does not believe it go visit for yourself. Grid station is 100% complete. Many main roads are being doubled. Inner roads are being worked on as well. There are already over twelve homes in full construction mode. Another ten or so are being excavated and initial work appears in progress. All you D-12 haters are either jealous or have not seen ground facts personally. If you don't believe me, please go ahead and visit the area during week days and you will literally find hundreds of workers working at any given moment. No doubt it has been a slow process and CDA is an inefficient organization. However as we speak today, all work is getting very close to be completed. Hard part is over and this will be a very livable place in less than one year max. BOOK IT! As per the prices, I am not an expert. I do know they have gone up slightly in the last six months. Had the Pak economy was not in shambles, it would have sky rocketed as is the case with other existing proper CDA sectors. As mentioned earlier in many posts by other brothers, and I agree with them, that on surface the development does not look as groomed as you would find in Bahria. That is because CDA sucks being a government institution. Give it some time and you this area will be superior to many other CDA sectors. BT and DHA ides their weaknesses by making fancy foot paths, nice round about with useless horses and many other cosmetic enhancements. Make no mistake about it, I wish CDA would do the same thing. However for me, the view and being within Islamabad is worth more than those details. |
