Limo has pointed it out correctly, For example, if a woman owns 7 tola gold in her name, she has to give a separate Qurbani. That's what I understood from the conditions of Nasab.(Particularly if she earns separately or if it has not been given by the "earner" of the home, like husband or father)
"Qurbani" is wajib on "Sahab-e-nasab", not the one who currently "earns"

As far as Wajib is concened, it is a sin to leave wajib, and is punishable, but lesser in extent than Fard. |
