Hi All ,

I am planning to start constructing my own house within couple of months INSHALLAH.

I would like to all you guys to recommend an architect based on your personal experiences and any other recommendations regarding this.

I plan to build my house in DHAI 2 Inshallah and going through the website these architects are recommended by DHAI.

Meet ur near n dear ones in the area of ur construction , they will b able to tell u the right one since they have a practical experience with the various architects. This is what exactly i will do when i will construct my house.

I know of a very good architect who works mostly in Lahore and lower punjab. Several of my family member has used him to construct homes and I have seen his additional work. He is really good. However it looks like you are looking for some one in Islamabad. If you don't mind getting a remote architect please email me. In many instances I think it may better to have a local architect but I don't think it is utmost a necessity. Anyway it is your choice. I am sure there are some very good ones in Islamabad area as well. Email me at if you need contact for my architect.

Why don't you try Zia Architests? I think their office is on Mall Road Rawalpindi Saddar.

@ALL thanks for your valuable inputs , it seems that this shall be done by visiting under construction/grey structure complete houses in dha or any latest society and then make up ur own mind whom to chose :)
