The Government of Punjab is inviting aplications for the allotmentof homes in this housing scheme who are homeless and earns less than Rs,.20,000.00 per month. I am a lady doctor by profession and hardly earning Rs.18000.00 per month in a Private
hospital. I am living with my parents who are also residing in a rented premises but this is not very much clear for me whether I can ,in my own name, apply for the home built on a five marlas
in his housing project of Government of Punjab,Lahore. My father who is very old and disabled person residing in a rented premisis advises me not to apply as this would take alteast
ten years when they would hand over the home to me if alloted. Kindly through some light on this housing scheme,Regards,

I think one should apply for a house which is below cost subject to fulfill remaiaing requirments. No worry it take 2 year or like other developers more than 5 years. I personally think if Shahbaz Shirf take intrested it will complete within time given.

I am very much optimistic that this project will be completed on time - even if it is late it will not be late more than 1-year, if enemies do not put hinderance in the way of Shahbaz Shareef to serve needy people.

As to this lady's question, I would strongly recommend that she must apply for this house. First no one is sure whether he will win the ballot or not; whoever wins the ballot he will be lucky one, no matter when the possession is given or when the construction is completed. So dear sister you must try your luck and do apply.

Good luck.

Please note that in order to be eligible for application, the total household income should be Rs. 20,000 or less. If someone else in your house is also working and the combined household income is more than Rs. 20,000 then you are not eligible.

After reading comments from Muhammad Saad, I will just say that anybody who is interested to apply, just get the form and fill it up. There are all instructions available and while acquiring the form one can just ask these small questions. One should not abstain from applying on just assumptions. Do try. These occasions comes very rarely in life.
