Flaws and Unlawfulness :

1): Liberty area is Civic center of Lahore and as per law; NO building shall raise more than 70 feet high in Civic center. However this Parking Plaza height is around 100 feet.
2): Earlier Parking plaza was an open parking place under the ownership of PHA.
They didn't ask for any NOC from PHA .
3): There is no MAP of Liberty Parking Plaza.
(Keep in mind that few months back LDA has demolished all Plazas having no maps).
4): For such kind of plazas, it is compulsory to provide 30' marginal space at the front side and min. 13' on rest 3 sides.
But in actual ; no space is provided on all four sides and Plaza is built on exactly zero tolerance/line.
5): Ist two floors and roof top of Plaza will be used for commercial purposes and as per LDA's Rules and Regulations; The parking space required for these three floors is 24,000 Sq feet.
6): The projections of all Ramps are outward of the building and in the boundary of UCH Hospital, For this; they did not make any agreement with UCH.
To make this Plaza successful, Liberty market’s Parking is closed with barriers so that people use CM’s Parking Plaza.
