I have an offer for a plot that is sloppy ( inclined plot ) in one of the CDA sectors. The front side is upwards and the rear side is down. The difference in between the front and back levels would be around 5 feet. There is another plot which is leveled. Both are corner plots. I have to select one of the two.
i would like to know which plot would be better to have basement. I am planning to make one for renting out with gate on rear side. I heard that the sloppy plots are good for making basements but I would like to hear from experts. What are the advantages and disadvantages of such plots ?

I would say go for a plot with slop, it will be open basement with more light and air. You can construct complete independent basement and use it either for rental or personal use. |

If you are committed to make basement then this plot is good for you. But Just take precaution if all the Block is deep then speed of construction of other houses may not be fast. As all of them may not be interested in basements.
Usually we find in a housing society the deep Blocks are rated low and people build houses after many years. Where as level areas are populated much earlier.
If society is already populated then there is no problem. |

Jameel ! you are right it is a new block...with only one house already constructed and in neighbourhodd there is no house constructed. But I would like to understand why it matters that the neighborhood is not constrcuted fastly. or they are not intrested to make basements ?...Is it the look of the first house when constructed is bad or there is any other technical reaason ? |

I dont know the exact situation I just mean that If You make House in a deep Block and dont see many houses for many years, the Block will be rated low and neighborhood will not be safe at the same time in Rainy season there will pooling of water in empty plots.
One example is deep Blocks in phase 5 DHA where Rate of Construction is very Slow whereas almost all other Blocks are very well Populated and rated far more than those deep Blocks. |
