dear all,
i want to buy 1 kanal plot in dha 6.kindly help me choosing the block.can some one list all the blocks in order of preferences and also give the reason for the choice.
i really appreciate as by doing my research the whole 1 month i am not able to make any decision,

Saleem Khawaja sahib this is my personal preference list. friends here can agree or disgree or add their suggestion as well
1) Block B. First block from DHA 5 side and closest to Ring road interchange. Most houses in this block in DHA 6. All plots are kanal or two kanal.
2) Block H
3) Block J
4) Block A (Some may say Block A but I will disagree as A block is too close to Lidar village and have too many marla small size plots. in most cases owners of one kanal like to live next to one kanal plots not 10 marla)
5) Block K ( Close to Golf course )
6) Block C
7) Block G
8) Block D
9) Block L
10) Block M
10) Block F
11) Block N
12) Block E

Sir there are two attraction for phase 6 either you want to be close to ring road or golf course ....then after deciding it go for actual plot location don't just consider blocks....because if a plot in phase 6 b block is facing water tank or commercial area then it will be headache for rest of your life in the same way if you find 70 feet corner plot in E block facing park in same price thats a gem to build a house.......so please go for individual plots....you will not walk on foot to go to ring road or gold course....B h and J blcoks are considered good because there are lots of houses being built all sectors will catch up once houses are built .Go for a plot which has good location individually and yet reasonably price spend the money you save in purchasing plot on making the map....Trend for which is best block keep on changing with time |

HHH have a point here. ranking will keep on changing as the time passes. However exit and entry to any society does matter a lot. This is one of the major consideration but! but! one always want to avoid the rush areas to live in peace and have calm environment. Nearness to Ring road does have advantage but if you face lot of traffic around your residence most of the time then situation can be very different. Take the example of old DHA phase one around sec A or even D approaching Nishat Colony or exit towards Saddar; the residents are really fed up and I know few who have built their houses in Phase 6, far from the exit/entry of the Society to spend rest of their life in a scerene environment. I would suggest to please analyse all aspect of a good or bad point with a vision, far ahead of face value appearing in the present situation.
