Dear CMY and respected readers,
I am considering to buy an on ground plot for investment purpose. My budget is 25 lacs and i want to invest for next 6 years. could you suggest something in this budget. I am planning to visit pakistan next month.

Increase your Budget and get phase 7 on Ground Clear Plot, This is best and safest investment of this time

Dear, you have mentioned that you want to invest for next 6 years. In this case, one of the available options, with in your budget (25 lacs) is to buy a 25x40 plot in D-12 Islamabad. In the mentioned CDA sector, possession is available right now.

In this budget DHA 5 ext is best possible option.

If you can add little bit more money then you can buy 2 files of 1 kanal in DHA-9. 1 Kanal file in DHA-9 including transfer charges is approx. 16.75 Lakh. I am pretty confident that balloting will have taken place in the time frame that you have specified. After 6 years, you can sell one plot and use this money to develop a house on other plot :).
If you can not extend your budget then go blindly for DHA-5 extension. You can confidently keep a file in DHA-5 ext. for good profit after 6 years.
