What is the current rate of file in DHA 9:
5 marla
1 Kanal.
Also, would appreciate if the price structure is explained. I mean, how much is on, file price and development charges (if any applicable now).

5 marla plot is available in DHA town. The price range of 5 marla plot is between 8.75 to 9.5 but it will take some time to transfer plot in your name because of NOC issues but it is 100% secure investment. DHA9 kanal file is available in market at 15.10 to 15.25 lakh. The transfer charges are around 1.75 lakh. Development charges will be announced after balloting. No one knows about exact development charges but you can expect 10 lakh in installments for 2 years. Hope this answers your question. |

I am not sure about transfer charges of 5 marla because i am just a normal user here and not a dealer. However, development charges are already included in 5 marla price that i mentioned above. 5 marla plots are available on map so you can see the location of your plot. No one knows about the exact date of 1 kanal DHA9 file balloting. There are rumors that balloting will be held this year but we have heard these rumors in past as well. I suggest DHA 9 kanal file for long term investment and 5 marla is suitable if you plan to build house in next 2 years. Both are safe investments. By the end of 2012, the price of 5 marla in DHA town will not be available below 12 lakh (my estimate). DHA 9 kanal file's price solely depends on balloting news. |
