As the recent scenarios unfold in the global socio-politico-economic structure, the change is inevitable & will affect all walks of life. (No need to repeat the obvious). The subsequent developments will pose threat as well as opportunity for our nation as well. It will be the matter of time when we see a transformation in our national set-up. HOPELESSNESS IS A SIN. When the dust will settle down I wonder if we will be ready to embrace the change - socially & financially.

The nation with a strong knowledge base & ready to adapt to the latest aspirations of the new era will prosper. The Chinese, the Koreans, the Indians, the Malaysians, etc. are already ahead of us in their research & development activities & the change would award them a golden chance to exploit the given situation. In Pakistan the situation is quite complex but promising. With so much untapped potential & intelligent human resource we can transform instantly. The only exit is the education (both revealed & acquired) diversified & cascaded to all levels.

Just glimpse through the window of the future where we can see floods of investment coming to Pakistan owing to its very geo-socio importance. Foresee the demand for business, jobs & property in developed cities, like Lahore. A sovereign Pakistan- free from all physical & mental slavery; visualize the peaceful evergreen forest mountains of north providing reservoirs of water & consumables, imagine the plains of Punjab & Sind produce bumper crops because of hi-tech research in these fields; the hidden traeasures of Baluchistan strengthening the foundation; the hot water coasts become the gate-way for both & East & West trade can bring a new industrial revolution. An atomic power with good ties with the Middle East & China can sustain & nullify all external threats.

Are we really ready for the change…?

Thanks for Inspiring thoughts, My own opinion is Pakistan is just like a mismanaged school and urgently need a good "head master", all those things you mentioned above are possible in just less than a decade.

Since you brought up this topic and the fact that on a recent poll here on this site, when someone asked of who would vote for which part in coming elections, a overwhelming majority of you voted for PTI. Therefore please allow me to post my opinion, which I share with my family and friends, including some of you members of this community.

Before I go any further let me start with the following. I came across this old video and allow me to share this with you all. Keep in mind when I was watching our ex President Musharraf in this video, I was seeing no distinction between him and any of our other Pak leaders (except Jinah). You may feel the same way perhaps.

We all know how much danger is Pakistan in at this stage. It is not far fetched to accept it as a ‘failed state’. We also know that our demise hasn't happened over night but nonetheless Pakistan is on a verge of a total collapse if not collapsed already in the broader sense. Imran Khan and his Tehreek-e-Insaf party is probably our last hope to get us out of this mess.

You are all intelligent people and are capable of making up your own political party selections. I ask from all of you to follow Pakistan politics closely and monitor all politicians including Imran Khan if you haven't done so already. If you believe there are better leader than Imran Khan, feel free to vote for them; you are entitled to you opinion and I respect that. If you are like me, you likely understand the dire need to elect an honest and capable leader such as Imran Khan (in my opinion only). However instead of blindly trusting me, you ought to get to study Imran and his views up close. You can see his recent interviews and coverage from the following two links:

PLEASE BOOKMARK THESE LINKS BELOW and check them often for new updates and interviews.

If you are convinced to take part in this change via PTI, you need to help. One and only way to be part of this change is to use your vote, but many Pakistanis, especially expats, are unaware of the process. Here are some details of how to register to vote:

http://www.insaf.pk/Support/GetYourVoteRegistered/tabid/257/Default.aspx

Before we vote in two years or less we need to help PTI. One way to help PTI is to become a member of and donate just $10 a month for his party to mobilize PTI members in every part of the country. I just recently using this link:

http://www.insaf.pk/Support/Donate/tabid/179/Default.aspx

You should know that all PTI party/account activities including audit reports are published at their website. Additionally every Pakistani knows that every penny is spent as advertized by Imran Khan himself. You all know about Shaukat Khanum hospital, Namal University in Mianwali, and the unbelievable flood relief efforts from PTI. Therefore your $10 will not be misused. It’s a public record and even admitted my Imrans’ enemies that he does NOT misuse any money.

Lastly if you cannot donate just $10 a month, convince your friends, families and neighbors to register and vote for Imran Khan, I make one simple request; please please please pray for Imran Khans' safety as often as you can.

There are many enemies of Imran, especially now that since his vote bank is increasing with 70% population under 30 and about 2.5 caror new voters since last election to the upcoming new elections in two years. Remember PPP was elected with just 80 lakh votes. Imran is expected to sweep this election Insha-Allah with a majority of new, young and educated voters frustrated with the Vultures sucking the life of our beloved home land. Therefore there are many that can harm Imran. Therefore if nothing, please pray for his safety though I sincerely hope you do all (join PTI, donate $10/month and reach out to people you know to educate them and encourage to vote for CHANGE!)

I totally agreed with brother Khayam that Imran is the answer in current scenario but know these tout of so called power will never let him come up. I am nervous and pray almighty Allah to bless Imran a long health life of and protection of him from enemies.
