I congratulate all those 129 members who got possession of their plots on 09 Feb 2011 in Society. They can now construct houses there.

It is a very good news but possession was given only to the alotties of E-16 sector plot holders. Now inshallah price will go high in coming months.

How does this possession thing work? when you apply for it anytime of the year so you are given or you have to wait for a specific occassion by society or what?
please explain because i want to buy a plot there and the property dealers always says we will get you posesssion for the plot (almost any plot if you buy it for almost every plot).

Possession has also been given to E-17 allottees.
Its wrong that only E-16 owners got possession. I have plot in E-17/3 mani double road and i got possession.

@shehzad,nabeel, it is not practically possible to give possession to 129 allotties in one day.Please dont misguide people on this forum.

you can apply for possession even if your plot is in E-17. Application form fees 500 Rs/- Including a 10Rs stamp paper. A letter will be issued in 2 weeks time about the cost of possession. After paying some cost, you can mark your plot and get physical possession.

Keep in mind that only fully developed plots are going to get possession first but you can apply for possession even if the street is still incomplete.

The figure 129 was told by Society officer in response of my question about the number of members who applied for possession. The truth i did not verify.

Anyhow,its the good news that people are getting Possession of their plots.
They gave possession in 2 consecutive days.

@Shahzad, CDECHS has only one surveyer and it takes at least 1/2 hour for him to give possession to one allottee. It looks true that 129 allottees have applied for possession and 8-10 applicants will get possession every day. Any how thank you and congratulations for getting possession.

I got possession too on 9th February. My plot is in E-17/3. CDECHS started giving possessions since end of December 2010.

Is there any disadvantage of taking the possession?
(e.g. No construction charges in bahria etc)
i mean if someone wants it only for investment purpose for few years so what is the need of posession.

I have 500 sq yards plotin E-16/2, Street 24, Plot 4, opposite park. Final price is 27 lac with all dues paid and possession applied. Thanks. .

If you can get 500 sq yrds plot in 17 lac in CDECHS from anywhere, I would suggest you not to dealy and be quick.

I am not in hurry. Insha ALlah, I will sell my plot for 30 lac in few months time.
