Dear `Inside Out'! I was quite astonished to read your response dated Sep 1, 2011 to Mr. Aamir's advertisement dated Feb 18, 2011 regarding his intention to sell a plot in Alhamra Housing Scheme, Islamabad. Though I respect your opinion. But at the same time like all the Govt organizations, the armed forces also have housing schemes for the welfare of their personnel. But at the same time you would agree that there are numerous housing societies (some of them being run by very famous organizations) in & around Islamabad hitting the snags for many years! You have also mentioned about the `failure' of PAF's Regi Lelma (Peshawar) & Tarnol housing schemes. But strangely, you didn't mention about the outstanding success of PAF's `Fizaia Housing scheme located adjacent to the hillock showing `Unity, Faith, Discipline' on the main Islamabad Highway? This scheme is considered as one of the finest, most elite & one of costliest housing schemes in the Rawalpindi/Islamabad region. I personally know few people who lived all there lives in Islamabad. But recently purchased a plot at a hefty price in Fizaia Housing Scheme & built their houses in it due to its central location, serene atmosphere & secure environment!! Barring few exceptions, by & large the armed forces housing schemes all over the country are eminent & well-known for their transparency & straight forward procedures. That is why the estate prices in the armed forces housing colonies are always higher despite the fact that the most of the armed forces societies/DHA's are built far off from the cities. On the other hand,e.g., the Pakistan Railways, which has the prime/precious/valuable land all over Pakistan, per my knowledge could not develop even a single housing scheme compared to any DHA/armed forces society in the country! Therefore, I beg to differ with your point of view & humbly request you to please go through all the facts before dishing out your own opinion! Thanks for your understanding & regards |
