I am overseas Pakistani, and visit Pakistan quite oftenly.Best option is for me is to rent a car and spend my time instead of buying one. I had some bad experiences with rent a car dealers, they are tricky and unreliable and un ethical. Are there some good individuals and companies to deal with? Please advice

u will find all people mentality alike. There is no difference all people in paksitsan want to mint money. if u want to stay longer time more than three months buy a second hand car and sell it out on your departure it will be more economical. u will only loose perhaps 10,000 to 15000 and fuel used during this period.Say about fuel CNG average 400/- perday it will cost u 12000/- per month. Fuel price 36000/- plus u loose money on selling your car is 10,000/- it will cost u 46000/- say 50,000/-. The rental price of old model toyota is from 2500 to 3000/- for the new one from 3500/- perday. u have to buy fuel yourself. cost 3500/- x 30 = 105000/- per month without fuel. u decide your self. i hired a car on my daughter marriage from Wasim to whom i find good and polite driver from punjab tourism company. |

Ahad, I was in the same situation when I was in Pakistan back in Jan. 2011 and some one advise me not to rent as they dealer really look for each scratch and will try to get more and more money from you. I decided to buy a second hand car and got one at good price.
I am going again in April and will use the same car and may sell while leaving end of April. |
