Canal Road Widening,

An anti-developement group (Lahore Bachao Tehreek) is against the widening of this road. As per their point of view, trees are more important than humans.

Dear, Pakistan is the place to live for Rich people, all your ideas will benefit poor people and no one wants to work for poor.

Do you think any rich will travel in the train who goes out in his luxury car with or without driver each day?

They have installed this overhead train system in dubai, and it has cost them 28 billion dollars :)
it is more than pakistans budget

There is ample place on both sides of canal, so we don,t need that billions dollor train system.

Dear,

Ahmed's Proposal is perfect & a feasibility study for the same must be launched now.
However if widening of small stretches of canal road will help it should be done now because Ahmed's proposal will take time for its feasibilty study, design & construction.
Further if some trees/plants are removed for development purposes new trees/plants must be planted to compensate for them. We should all try to increase tree population to fight against pollution in our wonderfull country.

In Dubai same train system called metro has failed to get people acceptance. However I know in London that has been very popular. But i understand that cost will be too much as compared to fly overs and underpasses.

Pakistanis learn to drive in line, even if you build 6 lines and drive like loose cows, no good will come.
So learn to make line, every where.
Same goes with cleanliness. No amount of people can clean your country if you throw trash in open.
So next time you drink juice or eat ice cream, put the wrapper in bin and don't forget to give little civilization lesson to your children.

officially kick back and commission was introduced by zerdari during benezeer regime.when zardari took 3.45 millions dollars commission @10% with habco,and now commission is the only progressive department with its nick name curruption under this currupt government

Dear Saeed uae. dont forget that eurpoeans installed this train in an oil rich (sorry to say dumb people) country. a to z of whole system was imported and erected. whereas, in pakistan we already got a railway system (though managed badly) along with railway carriage factories building railway engines and carriages. so if someone think in a serious manner i believe system could be in place without foreign assistance but have to get transport mafia involved in the project - so they will know they have stakes in it.
