AOA,
I need expert opinion from every one.If i have 10 million RS to invest in PAKISTAN for next five years. Main objective is to earn monthly income and at the same time to secure my investment too.So, should i invest in rental property or deposit it in the bank.I don't care about the sood stuff or should i keep my money in dollars in usa.In USA you don't get much from the banks and stocks are risky and with this kind of money you can't do any business.I would appreciate each advice and it might help other folks too which are in the same boat.

I hope you didn't mean when you wrote "I dont care about sood stuff", unless you are non-Muslim, you should be very sensitive about this aspect. A person involved in sood is like a direct enemy of ALLAH and please, ask for forgiveness immediately to ALLAH and HE will bless you with everything insha ALLA. This is my sincere, brotherly advice.

Dear Non Imposing Muslim,

I really agree with your point & sincere advice. Here every one try to ba "True Muslim" by saying bad words to others. One should accept the sood or not it is 100% his personal matter, but we are use to be dicdator in every acpect of life. Please dont give "FATWA" if you dont have any postive feed back for other. Just stay in your circle of "Narrow mind attitude" & extremism" dont effect others.

Thanks for your advice and you are right it's lot of headache in USA due to high property taxes/Maint fees/insurance cost so after paying every thing you don't get a whole lot plus danger of demanging the property too and for few thousand dollar, you can't even pursue case because attorenys are so expensive.
and in pakistan you will be lucky if some one get's you good deal with an honest heart because i been burned before.

Though this post mainly went away from the topic and i certainly have my own view but i am really happy to see all those posts. It tells me about a live society that can have all sorts of minds and have a noise free discussion. I agree with "Muslim" and at the same time i totally respect "Simply Human" and hey "Non Imposing MUSLIM".... dude you got flying colors. DEAR MR SAEED,AOA pls forget all these kind of ppl ,they are all hipocrats, in ko islam tab he yad aata hay jab dosray ka mamla ho,jo sood ki bat kertay hain ,in say sirf yay pooch lain k din main kitni namazain pertay hain ?or ALLAH ,k kis kis ahkam per amal kertay hain.in property dealers ki subhah jhoot say hoti hay or rat per khatam hati hay.pls go for fixx deposit, and you will get 11 percent interest with mcb.

Well brothers let us look into our following two problems.

1. Some of us have savings & would, preferably, like to invest in a secure & Islamic way to have some regular income.
2. We have an acute shortage of housing units at national level.

The best way out for the people with savings, would be to invest in housing units & rent them out.

Main problem in the implementation of said proposal is lack of confidence among the investors due to usual disputes between the Tenants & Landlords. If we manage to take care of this problem we can help both the investors & tenants.

I invite all my valuable friends on this forum to contribute their ideas about "How we, as a nation, can reduce, if not eliminate, the Tenant - Landlord disputes" & help the nation to move forward.

This is only the science and knowledge that have brought prosperity to the mankind. Practically, all the religions have severed the humanity with bloodshed,wars,fightings, sectarianism, superstitions and divide of Us and them. No religion have even a 0.000001% prove that it is true. Yes no prove at all. Religions are only meant to control the minds of mob to serve their masters and thats it.

Hello ALL,
In western countries all muslims have mortgages and credit cards with interest rates and it's hard to imagine life without them. No body has cash to buy home here like in paksitan so which category that comes in.Is this one is against islam or not.

1. All people here are not property dealers.
2. Some property dealers have good values. CMY for instance advised me against selling a plot in bahria and buying in sukh chayn losing an opportunity to make money on both transactions. That was the only time i spoke to him over the phone, never met him and never spoke to him before or after him even on the phone but i witness his sincerity.

I dont know which western country you live in. I have been living in USA for 20+ years, studied here, worked her, and raising my family here. Even though most muslims use credit cards, most of these credit card users do not indulge in interest and use credit card as a charge card by paying what they spend every month. There are many people who dont use credit cards even as charge cards. Now there are many forms of sharia compliant mortgages available, some of the models you can argue about but the other models dont even leave room for argument.

bad muslim: you are too judgemental and your argument is extremely weak. More and more youngsters are becoming practicing muslims better than their parents.

When everybody has the right to hold his own view, don't insult others. Valid & prudent arguments with evidence (even from Quran & Sunnah) should be posted against any argument instead of taunting personally. Some people argue even not to talk of riba (or other haraam) as stated in Quran & as advised by our beloved Prophet Mohammad (SAW). I insist, let us bring all the arguments on the table & then let the individual decide: hell or heavan.

If one is not offering Salah, it does not implied that he should also be indulged in riba & other haraam activities; each one will have its own consequences.

Let’s see it from a different perspective, these days, the easiest way is to keep your money on haraam interest based bank & the most difficult is to put your money & yourself into the hassel of a halal business exposed to all risks. You need to ponder upon all possibilities. The dynamism & beauty of this phenomenon is to squeeze the human mind to bring new ideas & innovations. This will even triggers new technology & advancements. Not all, but an unbiased student will learn from these discussions & will find new avenues - reality is that Allah infact guide the best alternative to that individual who strives for it; u don't need to be a super human to achieve this cadre (even to a non-muslim, if he searches & strives for anything he gets) "Laisa-Lil-Insaane-Illa-Ma-Sa'a"; but if you are a muslim, just submit yourself to the Will of Allah & see the miracles urself.

To all kind of my “Muslims” bros.

You mess all thing together, rather to give an idea, just start preaching the same way others have done. I don’t know why we are crying on the name of “sood” or starting to differentiate “halal & haram” instantly. If we Muslims are so caring & poise than where are our “true values” which are the real essence of a good human being not for a Muslim only? By the way prior to acquiring a religion one should must be a good human being, it only counts afterwards that what religion you are going to accept.
But unfortunately being a “Muslim” we have lost all the values of a common human being. We confidently cheat, lies, deceive, abuse, fight, murder, blame,…………do all the bad thing in our general life & once the issue of “sood” or ‘Islam” comes our honor awakes promptly. Why we are you not spreading or convincing our Muslim brother that all above stated thing are “haram” in Islam because unfortunately we ourselves are involved in such all activities & proving these all “bad” goods according to our requirements. Moreover we are bluntly saying that we are the only nation on this earth who is following the RIGHT” path???? Path of Corruption & lawlessness, cheating, fraud, killing the innocence people in the of name so called barbarism “JEHAD”.
Go to mosques you will realize that our all “molvi” & “Ulmas” are talking on their most ever favorite “hot” issues of vulgarity, Liquors, Woman, Jehad, Sood or than on America / Europe (non Muslims). Have they ever raised the critical & very common issues relating to one’s daily lives? Observe the life of “nam nihad” Muslims in your country & even in all GCC countries than you will come to know what is “halal” & “haram”
Please now don’t give me the examples of the fairy tails of our past that Muslims had done such glorious jobs.
We are living in present & we need to weight our performances on the basis of present “ground realities”
Think on it & plsssssssssss….don’t start to abuse me or release any “Fatwa”. Change your present “WORLD” with your good deeds and be sure that your later life will be in peace, if you will be engaged to find the “after death” incentives definitely you will your this life as well forthcoming. You have been given a chance to make this world heaven……do it practically instead of providing the “character certificates: of your forefathers.

Question from Saeed Sahib was what is better investment, a bank deposit, real estate or keep it in US Dollars. I think most responses came back as haram and Halal, which may be correct and is their opinion, but irrelevant to the question, plus he was given "not just offered" a free one way ticket to hell as well. Now he also advised he did not care about the Interest aspect. So isn't that imposing your opinion on him "Sir ji or master ji"?

It is like if a bearded (Moulvi sahib) asked me for "directions" on his way and I responded, "I wish I could round you all moulvis up on a ship "SIR JI" and sunk it in the middle of Atlantic, so the rest of 99.9% pakistanis could live in peace". Now that would be an irrelevant answer to his question. Now saeed sahib may have felt the same way too.< "Sir Ji".>
