It is criminal how they call this a CDA sector and how they have allowed this issue to drag on and on for over two decades and there is still no end in sight.

E-12 allottees needs to organise themselves on a joint plateform and should hold regular meetings and collect funds to file a suite in Supreme Court of Pakistan agianst CDA. Only than they can get any relief.

CDA is accountable replied on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 07:44 PM

-Already a platform is in shape.
-That platform must be expanded.
-CDA must be stand on legal trial for long delay.
-CDA must be accountable and must compensate E-12 plot owners for delayed development.
-Mian Nadeem might know about the platform. This pressure group needs to speed up pressure on CDA, using media.

Aamir Sb, can you please provide more information about the “strong land mafia” who is not in reach of Enforcement Directorate of CDA ?

On February 4th, 2011, the Supreme Court of Pakistan directed CDA to reclaiming 20,000 acres state land, worth billions of rupees, which is said to be under illegal possession in different areas in Islamabad including E-12. So law of the land and supreme legal authority is backing CDA in this matter.

I think its CDA's failure not implementing law and order directed and safeguarded by SCP. Legally, CDA is in strong position. Its only matter of will and implementing the law. It will also make a good example and discourage other land mafia, committing same crime.

@Waseem: The package deal/award of E-12 is pending since 2006 due to local elders and notables mainly, Shaheen Khan of Golra, Javed Khan, Chaudhry Akbar, Ameen Khan, Muhammad Younas and Muhammad Shafeeh residents of Bhekkar Akku and others.

wow, that’s very impressive Aamir. It seems like you are the “insider” and can be a great help to “liberate” E-12. I heard Tahir Shamshad, CDA’s member planning, introducing a fresh drive against encroachments to get the land back. Or is it just a bluff. I also thought that the “formula” is renewed after SC pressure this year or is it the same as it was given in 2006.
