I have visited many housing societies in Lahore. Almost all have some drawbacks. But after long searching now I am planning to buy 1Kanal Plot in IEP town Lahore. It has also some drawbacks like approach from defense road which is too narrow and no activity is on this road. Further, there is a railway track outside this society but the price is very high in good possession blocks. Is it a wise decision or any better options for me? Further what is the future of defense road because there are many societies like, Mohafiz, Nespak, IEP, DHA Rahba, KEMC is situated on this.

I will recommend you to go for LDA AVENIUE1.1 kanal plot price is very much reasonable.Over all good for residence.Here 1 kanal plot price will be
30-35lac on 100 feet road
22-28lac on 40 feet road
Possession is also available in some block.You must visit this and then make your final decision. |

I do not have any faith and trust on LDA. They all are corrupt from top to tail. Further, I have visited LDA Avenue I recently and feel very bad about it. I think it will take another 20 to 30 years for LDA to complete this project, hopefully. |

I would say IEP is better option than LDA. IEP will be connected to Green Town and also there is a proposed road which will connect to Khyban-e-Jinnah through T&T and Valentia. With some good societies arround like DHA-Rahber, Wapda town, Valentia, and NFC1 it's future value will be good. Listen to your heart. Mostly engineers are member of this town and own plots there so community will be good.

to IEP but its + point is the construction of houses is fast and you will see upto end of this year price will be rise |

In loosely regulated societies the problems start to appear when they got populated.
Johar town is one example of LDA controlled society, where no rules are being followed while construction house and later neighbors complain about neighbors.
Otherwise, location wise LDA avenue is fine. |
