A friend of mine from UAE has just purchased 4 Kanal Land (Commercial)@ 42 Lac per Kanal at Defence Road. Exact location is besides a Palace like home opposite King Edward Medical Housing Society, next to DHA Rahber 2 and Khayaban-e-Amin.
He was pushed by his brother who is a Timber Merchant and got very confirmed news that Timber Market is moving there and commercially this place is very viable. I would like to know from Brothers of this Forum if they have any information on this subject.
I am interested because i am in search of 5-8 Marla Commercial place where i could invest for future.

Defence road is part of RING ROAD as per the new design. A major change. This I heard from some important guy in Bahria town. |

i am not aware of this news but this area has future potential Price of 42 Lac price is Ok if this have big front, other wise it is too much price |

Be carefull. This land may fall into Right of Way for Ring Road. |

there is no comfirmation of ring road map change .....small changes is possible but huge change like full direction change is not possible second there is a large amount of societies coverd already n prices are high to buy property on defence road to made ring road secondly a major part of industrial area which is a major impact ......defence road becomes a best commercial place after some year.....best college universities on defence or riwand road n also many societies are there like valencia dha rehbar awt khyaban e ameen etc i m not sure defence road becomes a part of ring road or not ...but defecence road always take a special worth ....because of industry....hope so ur investment safe n sound ....we just hope no body sure about future judge everything urself n belive in Allah...... |

I agree with AG, it is quite possible that land may fall to ring road or plot access may be from service road in case Defence Road is converted to ring road as no direct approach is possible from ring road. |
