I have currently 22 Lacs of saving with me and I want to buy a small house in Lahore. Could you please guide me how to use this amount to buy home. I am working in the UAE so i wont be able to build the house... so i would prefer to buy a home.
Preferred areas are Raiwind Road and Multan Road.

AA.Mr Nouman you can buy a 5 marla plot in Jubilee town canal road in 8.5 to 9.5 lacs and then you construct single story house in this budget.In Jubilee town 5 marla blocks (E,F).Very rapidley construction on going these blocks people already live there all facilities avaliable and gas will be within 6 months development good 100% safe LDA society you should visit this area and than decided.Good option for residence and investment purpose. |

Are there any reliable contractors who can construct your house flawlessly and in especially in my absence.
Please tell me how to buy a house with this budget or should I increase the budget? Please advise me on other options as well...

Dear NOUMAN:
I think no body will able to give you precise idea about buying a house in 22Lacs. Although i am sure its possible to have one within your budget but possibly it will be 3-4 merla house. You have to go to PAKISTAN, spend some time in searching of house, talk to different real estate people and get it ( preferably 3-5 years old constructed house). I can understand your situation (impossible to construct a house if you are not present at site) as i am also working in UAE and had same problem. Eventually i bought a ready-made newly constructed house and spending monthly almost 3-4 thousands ( as an average) for repairing/maintenance purpose. Builder has really used B grade material just to save as max. as possible.

Distance is not an issue. As I mentioned in my earlier posts, I am ready to go on Multan Road or Raiwind road. The amount mentioned is within hand, I can arrange more if you could please lay down the prices area-wise or guide me where should I go online to see updated price list range of 05 Marla houses in Lahore.
I'll be coming for a week to Pakistan somewhere in June. I want to have the visit more fruitful by getting the market idea earlier on and arranging money in advance.
