Dear Fellows,
I have an email confirmation from Bahria Town today that the posssession of the Overseas Batch "B" Lahore has been announced which means the members can apply for the possession. I have visited Pakistan in Last February and noticed that the development for the said block was in progress but not completed to the extent to award the possession. Would it be good if I apply for the possession at this stage? May Allah give you reward for your time & honest advise (Ameen).
Thanks, Jameel replied on Thursday, May 5, 2011 04:47 PM
It is upto you if you want the possession now or later, but as the past experience of Bahria, they give you 3 ys to Make House after announcing possession, that period have started now, [meter is on] so if you take possession in 2 years after one year they will start charging no construction charges. If you are not in Country then there is no hurry to come especially to take possession. You can get it whenever you want. |

I think Jameel "they give you 3 ys to Make House after announcing possession" is not correct rather they give you 3 years time after you ACQUIRE possession to construct a house. |

No Limu, Time starts when you take possession and not when they announce. But lately they threatened all the plot holders to cancel their plots if they don't take possession and clear outstanding charges. See their add which they advertise for Sector A B and C in Dec.10 |

this bt starts charging secuity chrges when possesion date is announced. 3 years period is calculated accordingly if u pay security of plot charges. this is only a process of minting money. I paid it my self to col sadiq. the BT HAS HIRED RETIRED COLAND BERGADIERS AND ARMY OFFICERS TO HAVE AN ATMOSPHERE OF TERROR ON THEM. i AM CONSTUCTING HOUSE IN JANIPER BLOCK. NO PERMANENT ELECTICTY CONNECTION AND EVEN NO FACILITY OF DRINKING WATER SUPPLY YET, THE CONDITION OF OVERSEAS IS MORE WORST. BUT HEY WIL MAKE MONEY AS THEY HAD UPER HAND. when u need some thing no one becomes responsible. when they need money every one is there.so if u can pau unexpected demands of bt then go for it. |
