Dear Members and CMY A-O-A,
This summer in June,i am coming back to Pakistan after 3 years.So i decided now to Buy some residential property in Lahore.I have consulted many fellows and they advise me to go for DHA.So i decided to Buy a property in DHA.
Now my humble request is that to give me advise for DHA 7 and DHA8.
Which one is better?
Also Give me the price rate on good location e.g near park,on main etc.
I want to built after 4 years.thanks

Maqsood Alam sahib is your situation I will suggest DHA 8. You have 4 years to wait for development work to be completed. Price range is currently same in DHA 7 and DHA 8. DHA 8 have better location but DHA 7 is developed or getting developed and will be ready for houses by Dec 2011 in all blocks other than X W & V.
In DHA 8 you should try to buy plots closer to DHA 6. If you have 52 to 57 lacs go for W or T and If you have 40 to 52 lacs Go for X T or S block plots closed to DHA 6 Main boulevard.
It is always better to call me on phone to discuss these type of things as I have my limitation of points that can be made on line.For example people will ask me WHY DHA 7 W may not be handed over soon or why I am not recommending it. 99% dealers prefer W over all other blocks. If I posted online why I dont think W is not a good choice people holding plots in W block get upset and I get in trouble. So I am now going to be careful with what I write on line. My goal is always to help every person even plot holders in DHA7 W V X block so they can make a move from those blocks if they are looking to make a house in DHA 7 soon.

CMY sb: I agree with your views about V and X block due to prescence of villages and some pockets yet to be acquired but excluding a small portion of W block towards V block ( again land pocket not yet acquired by DHA ) the rest of W block is a fantastic location and is undergoing rapid development. In fact I visited the site yesterday and most of W block will be ready for asphalting in 2 months at maximum. The 150 feet wide road connecting W and Z to Phase 6 F block alongside Defence Raya is also nearing completion to pre-ashpalt phase. Infact anybody who wants to see development in that area should use this road from sector F phase 6 and visit the area. Z and Y block are also getting developed at a very fast rate, which is easily visible now. Besides the small pocket yet to be acquired in W block, if there are any other reasons you feel W block will get delayed, then you definately know something that we don't know. Regards, |

CMY I appreciate your input, But disagree, that you should not mention negative points of any scheme/ Block etc.
People always Criticized me for negative remakes, To me this Information is far more valuable than good Points. But I have limitations as I am not sitting in Market.
If you talk to dealers or see TV or Newspaper ads they always hide negative points and tell all is good.
I will request you keep on telling both Positive and negative Points as 1/2 of Truth is considered a lie. |

CMY Jee, Jameel is right. I hold a plot in W and I would like to hear what you have to say. Good or Bad. I will then analyze, and decide if I hang on or sell. You are no prophet, but at the same time what you say is generally grounded in some logical reasoning. Sometimes I agree with you and sometimes I do not. So do not be silenced by the vocal minority who have short term oulook. |

I live in KSA and I visited DHA 6,7,8 sseveral times, met property dealers and collect all +ve & -ve points.
Believe me (sincerely) what ever CMY sb has wrote is perfectly ok and true.

@ Jameel first you need to understand the difference between sales man and consultant. Once you get it you will not disagree any more. There are several limitations for Sales Man which we should accept and do not force CMY for business secrets. Hope you understand the limitation. |
