DHA phase V and VI connectivity,

I read sometime ago that there will be underpass between dha phase 5 and phase 6 crossing bedian road but in the new DHA-6 map there is no sign of an underpass .

Never heard of it, could be some agents' hoax. Phase-5 is clearly blocked by Askari to access Ring Road & other side by state life. So to go to the other side of the ring road, Ring Road service lane will be used to approach interchange at Bedian or at Sui Gas. Probably same scenario as DHA 8/Parkview.

ali11..if you haven't heard of something, doesn't mean it aint there...There is an underpass being constructed under the ring road which will connect phase 6 and 5 and these days you can even drive on it while its under development. And askari is not between phase 5 and ring road; it's on the other side of ring road.

i read in haste and thought that question was related was for phase 5-ext & phase 5 connectivity.

I will try to rephrase. The underpass below ring road is a separate thing. But if a person wants to go from phase 5 to phase 6 and vice versa then he always has to cross bedian road which is not very pleasant. Does DHA have a plan to make an underpass below Bedian road?

75% work for digging of underpass was done at start of project than all of sudden plan was changed to go for round about instead of underpass. Underpass was much better option sooner or later they have to make an underpass here.

Thanks CMY for reply. the main reason why many people including me were reluctant to buy plot in phase 6 was that it always requires crossing bedian or bhatta chowk to reach phase 5 or other phases and if DHA would build a underpass under bedian road then it would really increase the value of phase 6.
Is there anyway to inform DHA authorities about this?

Also i can see in the map proposed mahmood ghaznavi road whic would link phase 8/7/6 to RA bazar and cantt. when will this be completed?

A few family members of mine also have plots in phase 6 but they are worried about phase 6 access problems
