My general Question
Does Allotment letter or (after selling-- transfer letter ) is the only legal document of file.
Is there any importance of installment slips(paid slips),development charges slips etc after getting possession of plot or they are simple piece of paper of nothing importance.

The Most imp is Allotment and transfer letter, but ithis good to keep record of Payment slips.
Dept like in LDA will ask you even after 100 ys that where are Payment Slips,

Well said
In case of LDA this can happen but when we got possession.This shows that we have clear all the payment.They will (lda or any other scheme,society) give possession after clearance of all duess/amount.So in that case (to show u payment dues,slips is simply out of question)

For buying the plots in LDA societies, you must make sure that following documents are there with the owner:
1: Registry (Most important)
2: Allotment letter
3: Exemption letter
4: Posession letter (Kacha qabza)
5: Posession letter (Pakka qabza)

And yes, all the payment slips are also very important, once you have the physical possession of the plot and you start the construction there after approval of map, the inspectors of that particular area might come and ask you to show the possession letters(katcha and pakka qabza).

Registry is not practice now a days.

1.allotment letter/transfer letter (in case it is transfer to someone by alottiee)

2.Pocession letter

3.Payment slips are of no importance after pocession but good if u keep that.

While transferring 1k plot in my favour in LDA AVN-1, they don't ask me for any payment slips. During that transfer process i see LDA persons are asking for payment slips for Johar Town plot transfers.
