While phase 6 & 7 investors are enjoying the benefits of putting their money in solid investments with on ground development work along with superior master planning, I feel there is a big game being played with phase 9/10 and 5-extension investors. Slowly and quietly but surely, the most attractive chunks of land originally meant for phase 9/10 and 5-extension are being allotted to military in the form of Askari-11, Askari-11 extension and DHA Town. As per my info, more than 200 acres has been demanded by military for Askari-11 extension next to Askari-11 and the size of DHA Town is also quite huge. Now you can see the google earth maps developed by MR. CMY and anybody who knows the area and with common sense can see that the site given to DHA TOWN is probably one of the best pieces of land in ALL of phase 9/10 and the location for Askari-11 is probably the one intended for 5-extension. This is very unfair on part of DHA but friends, DHA after 2008 is different from DHA of musharraf era. Under current military establishment, DHA has gone back to its original purpose of assisting our army brothers and the families of our shuhuda to get a place to live and I have absolutely no problem with that. It's for this reason that the people holding onto 9/10 files will suffer even more. All good chunks of land in 9/10 will be allotted to military personnel in phases in the form of askari's and DHA towns and then the remaining land would be ballotted out to accomodate the file holders. This area has too many HUGE villages and has too many societites cutting into it and has the hudiara drain all along its lower periphery and imagine you can take out the best areas, what will be the probability of ending up with a good plot in a general ballot.

I have said many times before and will repeat again...The town planning was BEST in phase 6, second comes phase 7 and third comes phase 8. Phase 9/10 and 5-extension are doomed.
