This topic is not subject of this forum but,i want a advice from the person who has been treated for lser surgery for eve vision or have info on the subject
i have far and near sight problem ,and want a opinion,if eye sight correction by laser is good or is there any side effect?
respected members to share their views.

it is usually Treatment for Young people who have big Minus Number, but their Cornea is strong I mean not Thin cornea disease called [keraroconus]
If you have weak near vision due to age plus 40 It is 100% sure it is not treatment for you.
Th ideal candidate is is boy or Girl of 18 to 25 years who are wearing heavy glasses say of minus 4, Their vision can almost corrected to normal |

I had correction done for my distant vision from lahore almost 4 years ago and no problem so far. MY vision was -4.75 before surgery.
It is also available for near vision correction but it is more recent and I have no details about it. |

Ask yourself the question; "Why do so many opticians wear glasses?"
At least that's what my optician said to me. It does go wrong and more often than they let on.
My friend had it done in London and it seemed to work for him(so far at least)

I have heard that If you get this surgery then in old age when you would need cataract surgery it would be slightly more challenging than for someone who never had vision correction by laser. This is just hearsay though so ask your doctor about it. |

I paid 30,000 in 2007 for correction.I am a doctor myself so I probably got some concession as well.No idea about current price.
If people have cylindrical error or astigmatism than the vision cannot be corrected completely as this procedure can only correct axial error.
so the physician have to see and assess everyone before surgery to see if it can be corrected or not. |
