I would request respected viewers of this site to give their suggestions/comments for house design on i kanal house in DHA Lahore for the sole purpose of renting out portions to get the maximum rent. I feel instead of building a one unit house ( G+1) one should build 4 portions two each on a floor to get max. rent. Will this work and DHA would allow such designs?

No Commercial activity is allowed in DHA residential area, Guest House running as commercial (Motel) is absolutely not. |

I think for such a business small plots are advisable. On an 8 or 10 marla plot two entirely indepent & very spacious & comfortable units can be built & rentrd out without any objection from authorities of society. At present 8 marla plots of Bahria Town Ali, Usman & Umer blocks are a good choice. However it is necessary that you survey for Return on Investment (Rent/Investment x 100) before you finally decide to go for such investment.
