If we see the DHA add, it reads as 'plots in phases
I-VIII & DHA Town". I don't see phase IX included in it and on the price detail list, I don't see the
DHA Town. I was wondering, if the phase IX mentioned in the price detail pages (5 and 10 marla) relates to
DHA Town and not to Proper Phase IX.
For comments of the experts please.

I think it would be better if they allocate in DHA town instead DHA phase 9.

DHA town is under development whereas DHA phase 9 is way behind this stage. I have the same question where one get the plot?
May be CMY sahib can get some info.

I dont have a clear answer for this one. DHA Town is part of DHA phase 9 and matter of fact DHA Lahore phase 9 block A B C D are called DHA town Lahore and to date its allotted to Shuhda only


As per DHA advertisement in newspaper plots will be allotted in DHA Lahore phase 1 to 8 and in DHA town Lahore. On location map DHA Lahore is indicating DHA town and DHA Lahore phase 9 as separate things ( DHA town is for Shuha and is mostly allotted already and ready for possession by Dec 2012).

BUT BUT BUT

In DHA Lahore application forms it clearly shows only DHA phase 9 5 and 10 marla residential plots on installments and no DHA town there ??? So I assume these 5 marla and 10 marla plot are from DHA Lahore phase 9 only and not for DHA town as these new plots are on 3 years installment schedules.

keep in mind there are no 10 marla plots in DHA town current map but DHA Lahore admin is asking for 10 marla plot applications too in DHA phase 9. Either DHA Lahore will in future rename entire DHA phase 9 to DHA Town or they will make an extension in DHA town Lahore current map to give you more plots of 5 and 10 marla and number of the available plots in that extension will depend on number of application received in this category. DHA will collect enough application to leave enough one kanal files plots land and make the rest land an extension of DHA town if there is a huge response for this installments booking advertisement. In this way DHA admin will also do ballot of 5 Marla 10 marla and all 1 kanal files at same time after the booking this year.

People that think DHA phase 9 will not be balloted in 5 or 10 years are 100% wrong as DHA Lahore is trying to get enough funds to accommodate asap 5000+ plus solders died recently in war on terror s..... DHA have always given plots to Shauda but in past Shuda number use to be in dozens and not thousands. Now thousands of Shuhda families need to be accommodated so DHA will have to come up with 1000s of ready plots in next 3 to 5 years at max and its possible to be done in DHA Lahore phase 9 only.

Even if DHA Lahore make an extension of DHA town and give you 5 and 10 marla plots there in this extension be prepaired for DHA Lahore phase 9 larger ballot of one kanal files and new more bookings on installments for smaller plots as lust for processing fee and interest on advances amount and need to allot plots to fallen soldiers and to serve living military officers their retirement benefit will force DHA Lahore to do a ballot soon as early as next year and ask for new applications same like DHA 8 ballot time people were asked a little over one year ago.

DHA Live Help Answer to my Question on 6 July :

Q : Just 1 question pls. DHA offering 5 Marla plots in proper Phase 9 or DHA Town. It is not clear.

Answer : It is in phase 9 which is basically includede in dha town.
