Dear CMY,
Statelife 2 is very hot now a days for sale/purchase, 1 kanal plot rate is 8 lac to 11 lac. It is market rumor that they are going to develop the scheme in few months.
I need your opinion for the purchasing 1 kanal plot in state life 2, is it a good decision or not.

Members have sunk billions in this Society and the price of a 1 Kanal file(average 1 Million ie Rs. 8 Million for an Acre) is less than the price of 1 Acre Agriculture Land in the area. This certainly means Lack of Trust and Mismanagement otherwise why would some one would sell Residential Plot in Lahore, near D.H.A which is well served by LRR at less than half the price of Agriculture Land? If D.H.A. 9/10 FILES are selling for Rs.17 to 18 Lacs, State Life fie should sell for 14 Lacs. Can some one comment on the followings:-
1. What is the current state of State Life 2 map? Has the LDA approved their map?
2. Are they planning any development work OR it is only a rumor?
3. Are they still hoping a merger with DHA?
4. What is the fair market price of 1 Kanal file?
5. What is the demand for files in the Market?
6. Has the management resolved its problems with the previous management? In the last year's general Body meeting there had been a number of allegations and counter allegations? |

There are very deep pits in state life 2, at most of the land the house construction is not possible straight away. It would also be very hard and expensive for the developer to develop this society. Society may impose additional development charges to built roads after filling up and one has to spend a lot for filling up the plot, if you get one. |

Thank you for the reply. I am not offering anything to you i am a buyer and want to buy a plot in statelife 2 only in case of there is no ambiguity. I am not telling that society will be build in few months but that means the development work will be started in few months. Do you have any further information on this please share. |
