I recently visited pakistan from USA in July. 17 - Aug. 09 and i drove around lahore and islamabad and i found islamabad best place to live and it's not that bad as pakistani people tell you about their country. the best thing i like it is lots of poeople which you don't see in America.

Also, i drove bahria islamabad phase 1-7 which is very good indeed but there is no acess from islambad hwy, you have to go from PWd scheme which is not good for bahria. It's best to get place in CDA sectors if you can afford like G11 which is right next to F11.

Thanks a lot Bahria resident for the detailed reply. Hopefully it will solve my problem for the slection of school. I have visited the website of the Roots school system. It looks quite impressive. I shall personally visit the school on my next trip to Pakistan. Do they also give pick up and drop off services from Bahria town phase (1-6).
@ overseas Paki, for sure it is a great country only going through some tough times. We shall sure recover from it. All we need is to to show faith in the ability of our nation and support it by making it our home again, or atleat increase our investment in Pakistan to improve others confidence in our country.

Roots does not have a pickup and drop off service but there are private people providing the service. I personally pick up and drop off the kids as I am more comfortable that way. The DHA Phase 1 campus is bigger. Its hard to get admission there as too many applicants. The Phase 2 campus is a smaller campus but same quality, and more closer to Bahria Phase 1-6.
