Assad replied on Saturday, September 10, 2011 10:01 AM

NOT YOU, at least...

AG replied on Saturday, September 10, 2011 10:12 AM

Don't worry. BT is not a "One Man Show" organisation. It is run by 20,000 professional & qualified people.

boss-sk replied on Saturday, September 10, 2011 10:46 AM

20,000 qualified professionals are just employs. its not a co-operative
society.. i dont se a better future .

SM replied on Saturday, September 10, 2011 11:05 AM

Malik Riaz's son Ali Riaz will run the show.

AG replied on Saturday, September 10, 2011 11:10 AM

@boss-sk.

Can you kindly share your reasons to support your opinion.

boss-sk replied on Saturday, September 10, 2011 12:02 PM

@ Sm i dnt think ali riaz wil be able to handle the things the way hiz father do .
@ AG bro see when the BT adminstration wil leave the BT own its own so there wil be no one to lok after these places except the people living there. there wil be elections for the management and finally we wil have a MNA or CDA wil take over it...
i have seen alot of sensilble persons investing in CDA (zone 1 n zone 2) sectors and DHA just saying that BT is private their is no one after malik riaz lok after it..

SK replied on Saturday, September 10, 2011 02:44 PM

@boss-sk

With all due respect, this is the most senseless commentary I have read. People like you have are good for only spreading rumors. Upto a few years ago, people like you were trying to convince people that m. Riaz will run away from the country with your money and will not develop any schemes that he started. And the 20,000 employees has a management structure that is headed by Mr. Riaz. it is like saying who will run MCB when Mian Mansha will pass on. And what makes you say that his son does not possess the ability to run the company? Were you his school mate? If we are throwing irresponsible theories then I have a different theory, in the event if there is a management meltdown, BT Rawalpindi will be acquired by DHA Islambad. Not a bad proposition, is it?

Personaly, I dont have any more stake in BT other than a 10m plot but when I see the work they have done (quality of BT rawalpindi Phase 1-8 and Lahore Phase A-C), it is even more impressive than DHA and CDA schemes. The reason it is maintained so well is because the residents pay a maintenance fee every month and since its not run by corrupt Government officials, it looks much nicer than the beat down CDA sectors, case in point visit G6, G7, G8 etc. and any sector for that matter, they dont look like what they were 20 years ago.

If BT was a moms and pops shop then why would international companies from Turkey and Malaysia come and work on their projects.

wel lets se wat hapens next sk ....:)
n am sochked y ppl always comapre bad sectors with BT . ....wel a person who have lived in islamabad , can never think of going to BT or DHA ... a person can sell his smal house even in the worst sector of isb and can buy a luxury home in bahria ...CDA worst sector = luxuruy BT :)
@ mr safwa khan u dont have transport facility govt. schol or colleges or govt hospitals in BT ...a common man cant afford 2 or more than 2 cars or private hospitals....

boss-sk replied on Saturday, September 10, 2011 03:53 PM

my relatives recently shifted to DHA 1 ...it takes almost n hour to go there in rush hours...as u have to pass thru the thick trafic of rawalpindi ...

AG replied on Saturday, September 10, 2011 05:01 PM

@Boss-sk.

I suggest that you first visit BT at least once & then come back for discussion. I own both commercial & residential plots in BT Lahore & Rawalpindi. I know what Bahria is.

Regards

boss-sk replied on Saturday, September 10, 2011 05:37 PM

boss-sk replied on Saturday, September 10, 2011 06:12 PM

Dear Friends.

Let us have brief analysis.

1. When we talk of an organization we should not replace the organisation by its owners/the people who manage it. It is very interesting to note that when people talk of Bahria Town they replace it by Malik Riaz & show their displeasure for him instead of BT while they don't do that while talking of other societies/CDA/LDA etc. which I think is not fair. It gives the impression that either the people are biased or working on certain agenda which is against the very spirit of this great forum.

2. I know, for sure, that BT has not been upto the mark in certain cases but we can not genralise them & totally ignore the merits of BT.

3. Strength/Solvency of an organisation/business is usually based on
a) Its Fixed Assets (Realestate,machinary office equipment etc).
b) Its Human Resources (No. & quality of employees).
c) Its Liquidity (Cash Awailable).

Let us now talk of BT in terms of above 3 types of assets.

a) BT owns a huge no. of pieces of different type of construction
machinary worth billions of Rupees in addition to good no. of
landmark properties which again are worth billions of Rupees.

b) BT has more rhan 20,000 well qualified & well experienced
employees who are creating excellent land marks.

c) BT has always billions of PRs. (in cash) at its disposal.

How Do You Rate Bahria Town I Leave It Upto You But, KINDLY, Make
Sure Your Concious Does Not Surrender To Your Prejudice/Bias for
Any Reason.

May Allah (SWT)Bless Pakistan with Peace & Prosperity.

My Kind Regards to All.

@ AG bro i totaly agree with u in all points from 2-3...but make sure in rwp/isb the they dont own the land CDA has provided thm with the NOC ..that means in the end all goes to CDA...

and for ur point 1 after the current chairman of CDA or LDA the post will be given to some other administrative officer....but in case of BT whoz gona replace malik riaz ,, THIS IS THE MAIN QUESTION....u ppl dont actually have answer for this question..

boss-sk replied on Sunday, September 11, 2011 08:32 AM
