I think the craze of DHA is going to be diluted with the upcoming socities like Bahria Town by offering at least the same or better facilities at much lower prices. It is therefore strongly suggested to only go for developed possessioned plots, no files or future promises. |

A carefull analysis of the societies along the canal road beyond Thokar Niaz Baig will show that these societies in fact belong to "Middle Class" segment of Pak. society. Bahria Town, in particular, have facilitated the middle class & brought them fantastic housing schemes with wonderfull educational institutions.
Middle class, usually, has been responsible for positive ecnomoic revolution any where in the world. China & India are the most recent examples.
So let us pray to Allah (SWT) to bless us with the same & help poverty alleviation.

Allhamdolilah...I just bought a one kanal plot in canal road .....Iqbal Avenue ph 3. of 2.5 million. Hope will increase in a year or two...thanks for good news of Canal Road. |

Perhaps, Mr. Naseem is talking about the renovation of Sara Textile (Mohlanwal), situated at the entrance bridge of Bahria Town Lahore. The premises and infrastructure of that factory may be converted into campus of Imperial College of Business.
It is simply guess work, may be true may be not.
