Can any one please tell me about the estimate construction costs of building a 5 marla house in Islamabad?
Also, for 10 and 20 Marla House?

For a fairly good quality work, the cost for 5-Marla house double storied should be approximately 5 x 225 x 2100 x 1.72 = Rs. 4063000. |

This is FAR (Floor Area Ratio = Total Covered Area/Plot Area). To be sure of this figure one should know the requirements of CDA construction by laws.

Thanks Mr. AG. If FAR=Total Covered Area/Plot Area. Then it should be less than 1. I think there is some problem in the formula if I am not wrong. Can you please check with this 1.72 ratio. I think it should be divided instead of multiplication????? |

I think its a storey factor. Means, if you want to make double story then multiply by 1.72. Can anybody help me on this??? |
