WONDERFUL IDEA OF MY STREET NEIGHBOUR!,

Dear Friends i Just experienced an idea near my offfice in last 3-4 months and it seems brilliant and i want to share it. Since telling something good is virtue as well.

My office is at main road and there is congested residential area behind the office. there was a plot worth 30-35 lakh of 4 marla. a person bought it and constructed it in style of apartment with each having 200 SQF/aptment (corner plot) and he constructed 4 floors ( old lahore so no strict building codes) now he has made 16 apartments and according to our area 1 can be rented atleast in 5000*16=80000 per month.

so may be some1 can fit into this idea if he has same kind of option.

200SQFT is not a small room if its a single persons accomodation. Its a 14 x 14 room which is quite sufficient for 4x5 washroom, 4x6 bed and sofa with wall mount TV/monitor and a small table. Nothing wrong with it.I think he intends to make it a hostel building. Good Thinking...
Under extreme temperatures,if he used insulation with double glazing and shaded glass,it should be ok.

It is 225 sqft actally, for heat u should remember that people living on rentals in a 1 room type ares cant afford ac, so it is normal. Also with each roof he has 3 feet shed so area increases a bit, i just shared the thinkingnof that neibhour. People who want to take rent can make little bigger rooms infact. Dnt see size, see the idea infact.

I agree with P.Paki its a good idea the luxury of loving havalies is gone now cities becoming contested and slowly small apartments will take place..

Dear SR,

I meant to use insulation and double glazing as two separate terms.
double glazing windows means that there are two glasses used instead of one,in the frame, with slight gap between the two, the layer of air trapped between the glasses prevents heat/cold from affecting the room by conduction significantly.
By Insulation, I meant thermal insulation in roof or walls, it may reduce temperature effects by few degrees.
