Massive crowd of youngster and educated class at Miner-e-Pakistan over 200,000 + ppl are there right now and ppl still coming.

Hope for positive change replied on Sunday, October 30, 2011 11:11 AM

It is a huge rally. PTI arranged about 40,000 chairs, but it turned out to be a bigger gathering. All chairs filled, many people are standing, still many buses (filled with people) are arriving. People have come from different cities e.g. Mardan, Abbottabad and even Karachi. Crowd is quite vibrant and chanting slogans to bring change in Pakistan.

@ ali1

Very disappointed by your response. Do you call this a small show?

This is gigantic. Simply awesome.

jk replied on Sunday, October 30, 2011 12:58 PM

It was a huge disciplined gathering and a big change was noticed, totally different then usual political speeches. Every class of people from different field was present and a unique set up.

In simple the PTI presented them self a rising leading political party and I believe they deserve to be given a chance.

Many anchors and neutral analysyts are calling it the biggest show since Benazir's arrival in 1986 and infact it is, as was evident from the media coverage. Heads as far as the sight could go. Let's roll Pakistan. Very well said by Imran that it takes very long to wake us up but today Lahore saw the awakening.

Eye Witness replied on Sunday, October 30, 2011 04:16 PM

One of the largest ever political gathering witnessed in Lahore today. Crowd number was min 350000 to 500000. Minar E Pakistan was so full that people have to stand on roads as far as 2 KM away from Minar E Pakistan grounds.

Young & old, rich & poor, educated & uneducated, healthy & disabled, men & women, newborn & elderly every one was there today. Very charged but disciplined crowd was seen.

According to every TV channel Lahore is now gone away from N league with huge showing from PTI.

Khan. replied on Sunday, October 30, 2011 04:22 PM

PTI rocks, anyway we overseas cast our vote? If not, I will plan to be in Pakistan during election to cast my vote for PTI inshALLAH.

Non Politicain replied on Sunday, October 30, 2011 04:32 PM

It was a very very impressive Political show of strength of PTI due to following reasons,

a) A complete discipline in a Huge - Huge gathering, never ever seen before in such a political show in Pakistan.

b) A complete silence to listen to their Leader Imran Khan, never ever seen before in Pakistan.

c) It was a voluntary Big Big gathering because every one came on their own feet or in their pvt vehicles and every one present there appeared to be very happy, satisfied and enthusiastic about the change which their party the "PTI" and their Leader "Imran Khan" is going to bring in this "Great Country Pakistan.

d)Imran Khan speech was truth full, thought provoking and very clear message to the present ruling politicians and to this Great Nation of Pakistan which can do wonders, provided they get honest and sincere leadership in the country.

e)Seeing Imran Khan's past commitments and its fulfilment, may be bringing of World Cup, Shoukat Khanam cancer Hospital and the most modern University at Mianwali, one can easily be convinced that he will fulfil the present commitments , if the Nation vote for his party.

f) After listening to him today, I am personally very much motivated and have started hoping that Insha Allah a great change is coming and good Fortune is waiting for this Great Nation.

Very influential show by imran khan. I live just 200 metres away from minare pakistan. We play cricket there every evening. I can witness that people belonged to genuine class instead of daily wages workers like other parties do. People were enthusiastic, i 1st time felt today that i m owner of this country. I was die hard supporter of PMLN but pti is future. Its time for change. I m ready to. I dnt expect big from imran in this election. If he gets 20 seats, i will b satisfy n in 2017 he will get majority. He can do wonders n we r all witness to it. Youth was 90% of the participants today.

AARAIZ replied on Sunday, October 30, 2011 05:56 PM

I AGREE WITH YOUR COMMENTS.YOU ARE THE REAL WITNESS OF THE SHOW OF GREAT IMRAN.VERY NICE ANALYSIS MADE BY YOU THAT HE WILL WON EVEN FEW SEATS IN 2013 AND MAJORITY IN 2017.KEEP UP IMRAN.
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL FOR WINNING SUPER SIXES CUP BY PAKISTAN

zh replied on Sunday, October 30, 2011 06:16 PM

Imran the great replied on Monday, October 31, 2011 04:55 AM

@ zh

If your analysis is true and People of Pakistan will vote for blood sucking Zardari and his chor group, then God help them. If they want to starve then let them starve.

But inshallah this will not happen. Change is in the air. Imran is our leader and will be for loooooooooong enough.

Lets bring change! replied on Monday, October 31, 2011 05:25 AM

Hello all,

I am in Canada but would love to vote. Can anyone please let myself and several others know if we can vote online or send in our vote? How and up to when can we register? Please help us all out.

Thanks!

No to status quo replied on Monday, October 31, 2011 06:01 AM

An argument is always made to keep people away from voting for PTI and that argument is, voting for PTI will weaken PML (N) which ultimately will strengthen PPP.

Counter argument is, what is the difference between PPP and PML (N)? There is no difference between PPP, PML (N) and PML (Q). All of them have same interests, all of them are the part of present government. All these are the beneficiaries of status quo and want to maintain it.

Secondly, why voting for PTI will weaken only PML (N) why not PPP? Who says that PPP under the leadership of Zardari is as popular party as was under the leadership of Zulfiqar and Benazeer Bhutto. Zardari himself has distorted the image of PPP. But he has has done a marvellous job, that is, he has exposed all the political mafias.

Everybody knows not PTI but PML (N) has supported PPP and present government, of which they are a part.

jk replied on Monday, October 31, 2011 06:21 AM

it is strongly suggested to make sure you are registered as voter at the place where you live or at home land. If it will not be arranged for overseas to vote by siting abroad, arrange your leave at election time and you must go and cast your vote.

We should not worry for people like ali11 but must convince voter those have never casted vote to come out and not to sit at home.

Inshallah this time it will be Imran Khan in power

wajid replied on Monday, October 31, 2011 09:07 AM

Yesterday's gathering was fully supported by PPP & PML (Q) as they wanted to settle score with PML (N). The gathering was impressive but can he draw big gatherings in other provices of the country. I doubt. He does not have much presence in Sind. Merely winning few seats in Punjab will not bring him to power. The politics are very dirty in Pakistan and other parties are well versed with dirty games. In punjab he will difinitely divide PML (N) vote but the main beneficiary will be PPP and not PTI.
