Future of Formanites Housing Society,

AOA, In 2003 a new housing scheme has been initiated by some influential people and it was highly promoted as one of the state of the art society which will be completed in approx 6 years and will be for middle class people.

Well at that time following other societies were also in process:-
1. State life phase I
2. State life Phase II
3. Sui Gas Society
4. Bankers Society
5. HBFC housing society

All these societies were in the same vicinity. Later Sui Gas got its completion, State life became good place for living as ring road was planned ahead of it. Bankers and HBFC also completed.

In these years Formanites proudly started its Phase II, Pindi and Gawdar Project (What happened with them God knows). Later management of Formanites requested for Sui Gas connection charges other than monthly installments and development charges. (Remember incase you fail to pay installment, your plot (or file) can go in cancellation and to reopen your case you have to pay extra charges as penalty).

From 2003 till today you can see only one water tank in the society which is now perhaps the status symbol of this society.

After long silence once again management of Formanites woke up and informed its clients that in April 2010 all installments will be completed and (which started in 2003) and you will be given your allotted plots but same year another letter of more development charges has been forwarded to some of the clients (Not all members even), which was another bomb for those who were saving from years for their own home and were relying on the management of Formanites.

In all these years several times map of society revised due to one or another reason ( Thank God this didn’t happen after the habitation, if it happened then every month we had to change our house number plate and who knows one day you woke up and got the news that today your house is not in formanites).

Now again there is a rumor in the air that map of Formanites has been changed again and if your plot is not in the new map then you only get the half price of whatever you have paid till today. And if you are lucky (for them offcourse) and have paid all installments then to get a new plot. you have to pay the differential amount of your paid amount and worth of new plot and only then you will be able to get the (so called) rights for plot in this society.

IS IT A JOKE???????? What about all those who have paid all their savings for their dream? Till today the development status is same as it was around three years back. Except few model houses which has been created by the management. If anyone wants to know that status of his plot, he has to visit society office atleast thrice as all office staff is very much bussy ( GOD knows doing what as the development is halted from last few years).

And if you are lucky and got details of dues and penalty from the office then to see the management you have to wait to become lucky and if you are lucky enough to get that chance than instead of listing your claim you have been awarded as offender and asked to pay the dues at once otherwise all is gone for you and the reason of late development (NO development) is simple. You didn’t pay so we couldn’t do it.

WHAT IS THE future of this society??????????? Is there anyone to take action against such managements????? :pkf
