I agree with all my friends who argue that, ground realities are otherwise and we can not jump over conclusion on that Imran Khan can win over the minds of masses on the basis of single "Jalsa". He has to conduct more "Jalsas" to prove his worth among masses, otherwise, people would stay in the dilemma to whether, their votes would of be of any value or it would be wasted, or should they cast their votes for lesser evil. I am hopeful and can see the light at the end of the tunnel because of the following reasons.
1. Most of the people have never cast their votes in their lives because of the mistrust on traditional politicians, and they have realized NOW, that they are suffering due to the same reason. At least I can realize this change around my own circles. This time they are willing to cast their vote by all means. This change can also be expected among masses after viewing the recent "Jalsa" by Khan Sahib.
2. Many people argue that, the "Wadera System" and "Caste Sytems" are very strong in our villages. That is another reality, but If you see the Turn over of masses has never increased beyond 34 - 38 %. And if you further divide this 38% among different parties then this percentage would further decrease. I want to highlight here that only 38% people have been ruling over 62%. Therefore, if Khan Sahib conducts more 'Jalsas", it would build his confidence among those, who still want to go for lesser evil as they think that their vote for Khan Sahib will not produce much effect. Therefore, I expect that Khan Sahib will not relax NOW-- after the show of power at Lahore, rather he should accumulate the strength of all those who have doubts in their minds. The more, show of power by Khan Sahib the more voters he would have. Otherwise, all ground realities would stay as expected. thanx for bearing me out |
