I live in model town and the first thing you need to know is that you do not get membership of model town society for anything less than one kanal plot. This means that the smaller plots in regular model town are not registered in the society and are only on power of attorney. Some people get a registry from LDA but that is not a proper document as this is a private society. If you are talking about model town extension, then that is not model town and most of it is not very nice. My personal advise, do not buy anything in model town under one kanal as it would be a permanent headache, all utility bills will remain in the previous owner's name, and there would be no legal record of your ownership in the society. Make sure you have all the information from the society office before you make any deal. |
