I am coming to lahore in December and wanted to know what is the best Laser surgery option for vision correctness?
Ideally if Lahore has iLasik which is new technology.
Kindly share your experience, due to risk factor I am thinking to do only one eye at time.

I have spoken to one dr in Karachi and One in Lahore
Karachi Dr claimed they have latest technology in Khi only
Lahore dr also claimed good technology still confused |

According to my information. Laser Eye Surgery for vision correctness has become quite common these days and is done at a lot of places. My Mother in Law got it done in Shifa Internation Islamabad and is quite satisfied a friend's father got it done from Al Shifa Eye Hospital in Rawalpindi and is also very satisfied. I have also heard good things about Dr. Naeem at Alam Clinic Shadman Lahore.
Most people I know have got it done one at a time. noth both together.

If you are in UAE get in touch with Dr. Niaz A Khan of Zahra Hospital in Sharjah otherwise you can visit "Eye Vision Hospital" in Lahore which also belongs to Dr. Niaz A Khan.
Mr. ASK is correct. My eldest son has undergone Laser Surgery for Vision Correction here in UAE & we are happy with it.

I had my vision corrected in 2007. My specs Number was -4.75 and no cylinderical error. My vision has been 6/6 since surgery.
I underwent PKR which takes roughly 30-45 minutes. recovery time is 3 days in which one has to preferably stay at home and avoid reading. Vision is corrected immediately but focus of eyes takes on average 4 weeks.I had it corrected from Lahore and later my Siblings had the same procedure with similiar results.
The cost is about 30-40 thousand for this procedure in lahore. |
