Dear Brothers
I want to build i0 marla house.What will be average cost per sq.ft and the rate is same for ground floor and 1st. floor?
2- Is there any web site from where I can see the maps of 10 marla houses.Thanks

@Khokhar.
1. For A class construction take a construction rate of PRs. 1600/- per sq. foot. This rate is applicable to complete house (ground+first floor). If you go only for ground floor the rate will increase because the cost of works upto plinth level remain the same whether you build only ground floor or both the floors.
2. I am not aware of any web site for floor plans. However I bought BT "Designs for Living" as part of approval of my house design in BT Lahore. Ask someone in Lahore to buy one & send you. It has a number of good 10 marla house floor plans. It will cost you PRs. 5,000/-.

DEAR AG:- THANKS A LOT FOR YOUR REPLY(JAZAKALLAH).CAN U TELL ME THAT IN MARLA HOUSE NORMALLY HOW MUCH IS THE COVERED AREA FOR TWO BED ROOMS,DRAWING/DINING etc,SO THAT I MAY BE ABLE TO ESTIMATE TOTAL COST OF SINGLE AND DOUBLE STOREY HOUSE.THANKS |
