I recently visited Engineers Town Lahore it looks ok as I am buying two canal plot there.
Can some expert can throw light on Engineers town including with reseidential point of view and its approach prospect from khayaban-e-Jinnah that when this road is expected to connect with Engineers town?

@Naeem.

1. Valancia is already connected to Khayaban e Jinnah by 2.5km long 150 ft wide road.
2. I am not much aware of the road works in TIP (which is next to IEP towards Valancia) but understand that some development work is going on in TIP. Other societies between TIP & Valancia are reasonably developing.
3. The day IEP will be connected to Khayaban e Jinnah via TIP/Valancia IEP will be a Great Society to live.
4. So go ahead for a 2 Kanal Plot in IEP. Good Luck.

TIP is on the other side of Defence road the road starts from khayaban -e-jinnah(Entrance Of Valencia and Few other Societies) and ends at the gate of valencia on main defence road infront of TIP society which is now known as Khayaban-e-Amin.IEP is on Main Defence road next to Neskpak Society.

TIP has land besides Khayaban e Amin & IEP as well. If you check the LRE map for TIP you will note that TIP starts just after the IEP towards Valancia (other societies are Nespak2, Audit & Accounts, Nashaman e Iqbal2, Naz Town etc. I am talking of this part of TIP. I own a 1 Kanal plot in TIP & when I went to their office a couple of years ago they refered to this map.

Pl. correct me If I am wrong. Pl update, if any brother is aware, of any development works in this part of TIP.

Firing range is at college road I guess. It means we may consider both.options either from valencia via TIP and other from college road and if any of them is constructed then approach shall be good enough.
I also intend to construct house after 2 years and till then hopefully any of the approach from khayabane jinaah via valencia to tip or or college road shall be operative?

I bought 2-Kannal plot in IEP in July-2100. It seems a reasonable society and good future prospects. Tell me where in Lahore U can buy 2 Kanal plot for 30- 40 laks price. DHA is like 2 crore....Hahaha. EME 1.5 Crores. Does brand name matters? Once fully developed IEP will be as good as all other socities. Its only 10 minute drive from Raiwind road.

Dear Mian Sb. I visited IEP in December 2009. I agree with you that it is a well developed society. By the way what is the price of a 2 Kanal plot in IEP these days.

I will look for TIP Tel. No. in my file. However I am not sure whether it will be correct or not because I booked my plot in TIP about quarter of a century ago.
